Effective sound insulation made from Swedish polyurethane foam – tailored for campervans, motorhomes, and commercial vans.

This is a high-performance acoustic absorption material with semi-closed cells, specifically engineered to dampen noise and deliver maximum sound insulation even with a slim profile of just 8 mm. The foam effectively absorbs structure-borne noise and resonance without taking up valuable cargo space or adding unnecessary weight to the vehicle.

Sound-dampening insulation for bodywork and cabin

An uninsulated metal vehicle body acts like a sounding board for road noise, vibrations, and wind turbulence. With high-quality sound-dampening insulation, you interrupt sound wave propagation and create a significantly quieter, more comfortable cabin or living area. The material is flexible, easy to work with, and shapes smoothly around body ribs, wheel arches, and curved panels.

Properties and benefits of polyurethane foam

Our acoustic insulation is crafted from durable, resilient polyurethane foam (PUR) with a density of 25–29 kg/m³. Thanks to its optimized cell structure, it withstands demanding automotive environments with seasonal humidity and temperature fluctuations.

High acoustic absorption: Semi-closed cells attenuate unwanted noise despite a thickness of only 8 mm.
Moisture and heat resistant: High resistance to humidity, liquids, and thermal cycling.
Swedish-made and certified: Manufactured in Sweden; complies with FMVSS 302 flame resistance standards and certified to ISO 845, ISO 2439/B, DIN 75201-A, EN ISO 1856, and ISO 1798.
Easy to customize: Easily trimmed to exact dimensions using a utility knife or shears.

Installation options

To match your build process, our sound insulation is available in two practical versions:

Self-adhesive sound insulation (with adhesive backing)

Features a heavy-duty, age-resistant contact adhesive on the back. This is the fastest, cleanest choice for direct bonding to clean metal sheet metal, interior body panels, and roof sections where immediate tack is required.

Non-adhesive sound insulation (for spray adhesive application)

Ideal when you prefer using a specialized contact adhesive, sandwiching the material behind interior trim panels, or placing it inside hollow cavities and structural pillars. For this version, we recommend Nevotex spray adhesive for reliable, heat-resistant bonding.
