Product Description:

Plastazote is a versatile foam material that offers first-class thermal and condensation insulation and sealing. It is available in several sheet sizes: 120 x 100 cm and 120 x 200 cm, and can be supplied with or without an adhesive backing for easy installation.

Known for its versatility and light weight, Plastazote works well in temperatures from:

-70°C to +90°C.

Plastazote consists of a number of nitrogen cells in a polyethylene-based structure, which means it does not absorb gases or liquids as easily as open cell structures. This gives the material its toughness and flexibility, while being light and impermeable to liquids. When the foam is compressed, the cells act like small balloons, allowing it to regain its original shape after compression.

The material is easy to process - it can be shaped and cut to suit specific needs, and can be bonded to other materials such as wood, fabric or metal. Even at low temperatures, the foam can be shaped, thanks to polyethylene's low softening point.
