The BMW 5 Series Touring G31 (hatchback) from 2017-2024 is a practical and safe Dog Guard that is installed without any damage to your car.

Easy installation without damage to your car. Feel safe with a secure barrier between the passenger compartment and the cargo area. Something as simple as the spare tire in your car weighs the equivalent of 1200 kg in a collision at 50 km/h, that's the equivalent of a small car flying through the cabin. A cargo net ensures that your belongings and cargo stay where they are meant to be, in the trunk.

Dividers

Dividers are also available as an accessory to our Dog Guards, for those who want your dog to have access to half the cargo space (or for that matter if you want to divide the trunk for luggage). Dividers are model-specifically designed for your particular car, for optimal fit and easy installation. The mounting is fixed and divides the trunk 50/50 (not removable).

The divider does not fit the hybrid model.

Crash tested Dog Guard / divider

Our Dog Guards are crash tested according to the European Seat Back Strength Standard ( ECE R17) to ensure that boththe load floor and divider are able to absorb and distribute the force it is subjected to in the event of a collision or heavy braking, where goods try to penetrate the load floor/ divider.
