Product Description:

This complete reversing camera system is custom-fit for Volkswagen Transporter T5 from 2010-2015 and eliminates blind spots behind the commercial vehicle. The system combines an integrated camera module with a digital TFT-LCD color monitor, providing the driver with a full overview and a wide image reproduction with a 122-degree wide-angle for reversing and precision maneuvering.

Installation is done by replacing the vehicle's existing third brake light with a unit featuring an integrated brake light and camera. The design preserves your Volkswagen Transporter T5's original lines without the need for drilling holes in the bodywork.

  • When purchasing only the reversing camera, a 10-meter cable with a 4-pin connector and an adapter for RCA connection are included.
  • For vehicles with sensitive electrical systems, a power resistor or relay control may be required.

Reversing Camera System for Volkswagen Transporter T5 – Clear Overview

The camera part is based on a 1/3" CMOS image sensor with f/2.8 aperture and IR technology for reliable visibility in the dark. The unit is designed for Nordic climates with an ingress protection rating of IP69K against moisture and high-pressure washing, as well as vibration resistance of 10 G. The included color screen handles temperatures between -20 and +60 degrees and has built-in trigger control for direct activation when reverse gear is engaged.
