This bulkhead was developed by Prefence, an innovative part of Safeman, specialising in the development and sale of equipment and accessories for transport vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes. The bulkhead is made from vacuum-moulded ABS plastic, a lightweight but extremely tough material that resists impact and wear. This makes it ideal for the tough everyday use that many transport vehicles are exposed to. At the same time, it keeps the weight down, which is beneficial from both a fuel economy and load capacity point of view.

Bulkhead Volkswagen Caddy

The bulkhead Volkswagen Caddy is the perfect solution for those who want a more ergonomic driving position and a calmer working environment.

One of the main advantages of this bulkhead is its deeper construction. With a depth of 45–75 mm more than the original wall, extra space is created in the cabin, which in turn allows for a more relaxed and ergonomic driving position. This is particularly valuable for drivers who spend long days behind the wheel, as the strain on the back and legs is significantly reduced.

The inside of the bulkhead is lined with sound-absorbing textile fibres, which effectively reduce noise from the cargo area. The result is a quieter cabin, where drivers and passengers do not have to deal with loud noises while driving. A quieter environment not only makes driving more pleasant, but also helps to improve concentration and thus safety in traffic.

Fitting:

  • The bulkhead is easy to fit and is designed to replace the original wall without any major modifications to the vehicle. Assembly parts are included, as well as clear and easy-to-follow assembly instructions that guide you through the entire process step by step. This way, you can get your new bulkhead in place quickly and easily, without the need for special tools or workshop visits.
