Product Description:

The Lazer roof pod is a vehicle-specific lighting solution for the Volkswagen Amarok from 2023-, equipped with two pre-mounted Lazer Glide LED light bars. The package delivers a powerful light output of 23,000 raw lumens (13,916 effective lumens in the driver's field of view), providing broad and long-range visibility on dark roads while preserving the vehicle's aerodynamic profile.

The roof pod is manufactured from impact-resistant PC-ASA and finished in an automotive-grade, high-gloss black 2K paint for a discreet, factory-integrated finish. Installation is tailored to the Volkswagen Amarok, offering the choice between a completely drill-free installation using the included adhesive and an external cable channel along the A-pillar, or internal cable routing via a roof grommet.

Roof-Mounted LED Light Bar - Approved High Beam Performance with Flexible Wiring

The two Glide light bars feature a low reference mark (Ref: 2x 12.5) thanks to Lazer's flash-to-dim function, making them fully UNECE R149 compliant as individual high beam lamps for European road traffic in low-power mode. The 5000 K colour temperature provides a natural and comfortable light pattern that reduces eye fatigue during extended night driving. For vehicles equipped with modern Canbus systems and factory-fitted Matrix LED headlights, we recommend the XBB Dongle & PowerUnit. XBB or an equivalent Canbus interface is required for integration with modern Canbus systems and automatic operation with the vehicle's adaptive high beam assist (not included).

Lighting Performance: Dual Glide LED light bars with Boost mode delivering 23,000 lumens along with integrated white position lights (ECE R148).
Mounting Options: Choose drill-free mounting using adhesive and a cable channel along the windscreen, or internal routing through the roof using the supplied sealing grommet.
Electrical Connection: Can be connected via the vehicle's factory-fitted AUX roof switches, an analogue high beam trigger signal, or via the XBB Dongle & PowerUnit / equivalent Canbus interface.

Installation instructions

Please note: After adhesive application, the vehicle must remain parked for at least 24 hours to allow the adhesive to cure fully before driving. Vehicles equipped with modern Canbus systems and Matrix LED headlights require the XBB Dongle & PowerUnit or an equivalent Canbus interface for automatic control via adaptive high beams (not included).
