Original emphasized push button Volkswagen Amarok from 2011-2020, available in three variants.

Gives a stylish original look to your electrical installation. The Volkswagen Amarok push button is backlit, which you easily connect together with the associated cable and connector (against the push button).

Push button Volkswagen Amarok

Available in three variants:

Work light (text: WORK LIGHT)
LED ramp/extra light: (text: LED LIGHT BAR)
Warning light (text: BEACON)

If you want to use the button for any other function than what the button is originally intended for, this works just as well. The function is spring-loaded (press the button once to activate it, and press it again to deactivate it).

Switching on (sequence as shown):

1 Green - Signal in: if you are going to use the button for e.g. auxiliary light or reversing light, take the signal for the button from the blue connector located on the left side under the steering wheel (for auxiliary light: black/white, for reversing light: black/blue).
2 Red/Yellow - Signal out: Control signal for external relay (connected to pin 86 of relay). NOTE! The button is not intended to operate consumers without a relay in between!
3 Red/Yellow - Backlight: Connects to existing buttons' gray/yellow cable.
4 Black - Earth: On the manufacturer's designated earth point, in direct contact with the vehicle chassis.

Installation:

When installing, we recommend ordering three buttons, regardless of whether you only intend to use one of them. The reason is that the plastic dummy mounted to the right of the gear selector is a whole piece of plastic and not three-piece as it appears. If you are going to use one or two buttons, you need to cut the plastic piece to make it look good.

When installing the Volkswagen Amarok push button, you need to cut away two transverse plastic ribs (when the buttons are then installed, this cut is not visible) in order for the buttons to be correctly positioned in the hole.

When installing three buttons, it may be easier to glue them together with e.g. hot melt glue to get a nice uniform line on all buttons. However, this is not a must but can facilitate.
