Product Description:

A tow bar mounted step for MAN TGE from 2016- provides a stable and non-slip entry that relieves knees and back during daily loading and unloading of heavy tools and materials. The step bolts directly into the existing flange tow bar, while the tow ball remains fully usable for your trailer.

Please note!

Tow bar requirement: Fixed flange tow bar with 2 or 4 bolts. CC-measurements are detailed further down under each step variant.

In addition to lowering the entry height to the cargo area, the step functions as a mechanical impact protection for the rear bumper on your MAN TGE when reversing against loading docks, posts, or walls. The construction is adapted for flange tow bars with 2 or 4 bolts (including Westfalia) and can be installed in approximately 15–30 minutes without special tools.

Tow Bar Step - Ergonomic Loading

For professional drivers who step in and out of the van dozens of times per workday, a fixed step reduces the risk of slip accidents on wet, muddy, or icy roads. At the same time, the robust steel or stainless steel profile absorbs impacts from minor parking incidents that would otherwise cause costly plastic and paint damage to the rear of the vehicle.

Single Step 60 cm Right (Polished Stainless Steel or Black Powder Coat)

A compact step mounted on the right side of the tow ball – directly under the rear door that opens first on vans. A practical choice when you want a smooth entry and at the same time leave the left side completely free for the tow bar's electrical socket.

Dimensions and placement: 600 mm width, right-hand design providing clear passage for the trailer connector on the left side.
Material and grip: Corrosion-resistant stainless steel (polished or black powder-coated) with raised drainage holes that provide grip for work shoes and allow snow and gravel to pass through.
Attachment: Fits flange tow bars with 2 or 4 bolts and a bolt pattern of CC 90 mm.

Double Step 114 cm (Polished Stainless Steel or Black Powder Coat)

A wider double step that extends on both sides of the tow ball. Provides a wide stepping surface regardless of which rear door is used and covers a larger part of the vehicle's rear.

Dimensions and design: 1140 mm total width with double stepping surfaces and free space for the tow ball in the center.
Material and grip: Made of stainless steel (polished or black powder-coated) with a punched, anti-slip profile that resists road salt and moisture.
Attachment: Fits flange tow bars with 2 or 4 bolts and a bolt pattern of CC 90 mm.

Double Step 105 cm with Socket Cut-out (Black Powder-Coated Steel)

A robust double step in black powder-coated steel equipped with an integrated hole for the trailer connector in the mounting plate itself, as well as footplates surrounded by a protective steel arch.

Integrated connector mount: 1050 mm total width with a pre-cut opening in the mounting plate for easy access and protected placement of the electrical connector.
Construction and grip: Robust steel with durable black powder coating, rounded outer arches, and stepping surfaces with a checker plate pattern.
Flexible attachment: Fits flange tow bars with 2 or 4 bolts (including Westfalia) with a bolt pattern of CC 85–90 mm.
