Product Description:

Adjustable device holder with ball joint designed for stable and secure mounting of tablets with or without a protective case. The holder features rubberized grip surfaces at the top and bottom edges that provide a firm grip and protect the device against scratches, while keeping charging ports open for cable connection during travel. Please note that the vehicle-specific headrest mount is not included and must be purchased separately.

The construction is based on an integrated ball joint that is tiltable 20° and rotatable 360°, making it easy to switch between horizontal and vertical orientations and angle away light reflections from the screen. Mounted via a standardized 42x50 mm mounting plate with pre-drilled AMPS holes and 2 centered 3.5 mm holes.

Crash-tested for headrest mounting according to ECE R17

The holder is crash-tested and approved according to car seat standard ECE R17 for devices weighing up to 490 g mounted on a headrest mount. The test was performed in both front- and rear-impact collisions on seats with hidden as well as visible headrest posts, where the holder successfully secured the tablet throughout the entire sequence. It is recommended to mount tablets on a headrest mount for rear-seat use, as mounting on the dashboard (e.g., via ProClip) can obstruct controls and the field of view as well as exceed the mount's load capacity. Supplement with a vehicle-specific headrest mount designed for your car model.
