Product Description:

Extremely flexible extra light connector from Swedish XBB to Mitsubishi ASX from 2020-2022.

  • Super easy installation as the communication between the relay and the signal for the high beam is done mainly via Bluetooth
  • XBB Extra Light Connector Mitsubishi ASX has a short installation time - 15 minutes!

XBB Auxiliary Light Connector Mitsubishi ASX

The installation is super easy and the communication between the OBD sensor and the auxiliary light relay is very fast;the sensor and the auxiliary light relay is completely seamless via Bluetooth, which means that everything can be ready in as little as 15 minutes! No more time-consuming search for Canbus cables or any wiring inside the car, no cable to be pulled through the torpedo wall out into the engine compartment and the like.

The kit, which is complete (except for the auxiliary light/LED ramp), consists of the following:

  • OBD-II transmitter (Dongle)
  • Receiver relay (Powerunit)
  • Cabling forouml;r 1, 3 or 4 DT outputs depending on how many ramps/extra lights you want to connect.

Installation of XBB kit (complete quick guide):

Före installation: Download the free app XBB Configurator for your Android phone or Xbb Configurator to your iPhone and make sure your vehicle is compatible with the kit.

  1. Mount the transmitter unit (XBB Dongle) in the vehicle's diagnostic socket, the OBDII socket. This socket is usually located under the steering wheel
  2. Mount the relay cable (included in the complete packages) at the vehicle battery or circuit box in the engine compartment. The XBB Power Unit is then plugged into the relay connector on the wiring harness
  3. Pull out and connect the DT connector(s) to the LED ramp/extra lights
  4. Launch the XBB Configurator app which will guide you step-by-step to pair the devices and finalize the settings.
  5. Done!

Exits on the Receiver Relay (Power Unit):

The receiver relay communicates with the transmitter (Dongle) via Bluetooth / Bluetooth and has two independent outputs. These outputs can handle up to 15A and up to 5A respectively.

For example, the outputs can be used on the Power Unit itself:

  • Output #1 (max 15A, 180W at 12V) for auxiliary light / LED ramp
  • Output #2 (max 5A, 60W at 12V) for position light / reversing light (this output isThis output is optional to use)

You can easily set these outputs yourself using the XBB Configurator app.

No need to connect to the car's electrical system, the extra light signal is sent between the transmitter and the relay via Bluetooth. The XBB Auxiliary Light Connector Mitsubishi ASX makes it very easy to install auxiliary lights.

Technical specification:

  • Working voltage: 9-36V
